AISCRIS, the Italian Association of Research, Innovation and Development Consultancy Companies, was established on 29 October 1990 as part of the Italian Federation of Tertiary Advanced Sector (FITA).
Nowadays, AISCRIS is one of the trade associations within CONFINDUSTRIA Technological and Innovative Services, a sector federation founded in 2006 as a result of the merger between the Italian Federation of Tertiary Advanced Sector (FITA) and the Federation of Communication and Information Technology Companies (FEDERCOMIN).
AISCRIS represents, both nationally and internationally, its associated companies that operate in the field of Research, Innovation and Development Consulting, including those companies that provide consulting services to third parties for the adoption or protection of procedures, management models and/or processes that can be considered innovative. This definition includes, but is not limited to, companies that deal with management consulting, with an innovative approach, oriented to the technical assistance for the development of national and community projects, protection of industrial property, marketing, internationalisation, alternative finance (including equity crowdfunding), training and quality. AISCRIS aims to achieve its goals of representation, qualification, distribution and protection of the above-mentioned activity, also by encouraging studies, researches and the arrangement of conferences and seminars.
