Since its foundation, ISCRIS has succeeded in reaching several remarkable achievements.

On 9 July 2014 ACCREDIA approved the normative document for the qualification of experts in LCA/EPD (Life Cycle Assessment/Environmental Product Declaration) prepared by the Italian Association of Consultancy Companies for Research, Innovation and Development (AISCRIS) as a scheme for the accreditation of certification bodies of professional figures.
The document provides useful indications for the qualification of experts in LCA/EPD, defining the profile of knowledge and skills required for a recognised professionalism.
Expert and Auditor of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies.
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Expert is a professional who assists companies in designing and implementing an information and management system of product characteristics for the purpose of an LCA study and possibly an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The Expert and the Auditor of LCA studies differentiate their competencies on a common basis.
The assessment of the competencies of the two professionals takes as reference the UNI EN ISO 14040 and 14044 standards “Environmental management – Life cycle assessment – Principles and framework and Requirements and guidelines” and the principles of the International Life Cycle Reference System (ILCD) Handbook developed by the European Commission.

Aiscris, confident that technology transfer is one of the best keys to enhance the value of innovation, has signed in 2010 a Framework Agreement with the University of Padova that foresees the involvement of Aiscris as a facilitator for the detection of Italian or foreign companies interested in licensing or transferring Industrial Property rights related to a certain innovation.
This type of agreement can be extended to other universities or research centres wishing to exploit their patents.
